Team approach to the development of an educational organization: experience of holding Organization Development Day in “Ekaterinburg Teacher’s House”

Abstract. The article examines the problem of the strategic development of an educational organization and the team approach as a solution tool. Management activity in changeable situations require special competencies of the director. Firstly it is the ability to initiate changes, identify problems and build up a step-by-step algorithm of their resolving. The concept of “participatory” management is becoming in-demand. To achieve success by an organization, it is important to have a motivated desire to achieve a common goal within the team. Modern approaches to the development of an educational organization as well as an additional education are based on “participatory” management. The experience of the projective foresight session of the team of “Ekaterinburg Teacher’s House” is presented. A modern, constantly updated teamwork management toolkit is a condition of the management effectiveness. The author gives a complete and detailed description of the practice of holding an intra-company event. In the format of a facilitation session with the direct participation of each employee, factors were formulated and voiced, in which each direction of the work of an educational organization can be effective. The formulated clear collective answer to the question of what needs to be specifically developed for the effective development of the organization is an important element of “collaborative” management. The step-by-step detailed description of Organization Development Day can become of scenario of an intra-company event for any organization.
