Students’ attitude to distance learning

Abstract. Today students have to study in the format of distance learning, because it is the only option during the pandemic. This research examines the attitude of the first-year students (87 respondents) of the Russian University of Cooperation (Kaliningrad) to distance learning. The study has revealed the difficulties that students had to face: tasks overloading, a huge amount of learning materials, limited interaction with the teacher and other students, technical problems. All these difficulties have served as a weakening of the motivation to study.
