Assessment potential of distance learning systems at the university

Abstract. The assessment potential of distance learning systems in the digital environment of the university is analyzed. The potential in assessment tools of every system are identified. Strong and weak sides in evaluation of students’ works are defined, including negative influence of distance learning systems on the assessment activity. The common problems in assessment procedures in digital field, like personality identification in assessment are described. The recommendations for realization of assessment of students’ educational results in online format are presented. The structure and scheme of the online lesson are given. Further steps in the research are mapped up.
