Implementation of the principle of variability in the system of additional vocational education: experience of Kaliningrad Regional Institute of the educational development

Abstract. ВSuch notions as “variability”, “variability in education” and “principle of variability” are considered in this article. The author’s interpretations of the main approaches to the implementation of the principle of variability in different levels of the educational system are presented. The article contains the description of the experience of Kaliningrad Regional Institute of the educational development in the realization of the principle of variability in scheduled professional training. The key contradictions happening in the process of building a personal path of the additional vocational education are defined.
