This article reflects the results of the fourth Russian Psychological and Pedagogical Olympiad for schoolchildren named after O.S. Grebenyuk, held since 2022. The Olympiad includes the following stages: school (selection), regional, and final. This year 172 students from different schools of Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad region have participated in the Olympiad. The first two stages were conducted in online format. Participants completed test papers and prepared a creative task of their choice: writing an essay, composing a poster presentation, or filming a video, and submitted their works for expert assessment. Most participants have chosen the essay as a creative task of the second stage. The final stage included test tasks, solving a psychological and pedagogical task, and writing an essay, which the participants defended before the committee. The tasks varied in complexity. Tasks effectiveness has increased from seventh to eleventh grade. Students understood the risks and consequences of using artificial intelligence, and many participants presented constructive suggestions for overcoming these problems. The students’ caution regarding the ongoing use of artificial intelligence in education is commendable. Difficulties arose in reasoning their opinions, especially among seventh and eighth-grade students. The results of the Olympiad have demonstrated increased interest among seventh to eleventh-grade students to the participation in this Olympiad, as well as improvement in the quality of student work at all stages, especially in the final tour.
