Integrated lessons on the theme «Symbols of Russia» within the framework of patriotic education: from the experience (practice) of work
Abstract. This article is devoted to lessons of patriotic orientation in Primary school on the theme «Symbols of Russia». Each symbol is given a separate lesson: «Flag of Russia», «Coat of Arms of Russia» and «Anthem of Russia». The title of the article emphasizes the type of lessons — integrated, implying the combination of several disciplines in the study of a common theme, interdisciplinary links. The article substantiates the goals, objectives and necessity of holding classes; presents the experience of work with younger students; shows the components of organizational elements of lessons as a tool of pedagogical activity; gives recommendations for conducting lessons; lists the materials necessary for preparing and holding classes on this topic. The importance and advantages of creative and game approaches in teaching activities, the use of modern computer technologies are explained, as well as the difficulties encountered in creating lesson scenarios and problems during their implementation are emphasized. Possible solutions to the controversial issues are suggested. The key feature of this article is that the experience of preparing integrated lessons on the theme «Symbols of Russia» is presented by teacherlibrarians who developed the lessons for primary school students.
