Regional history teaching in accordance with the main educational programs of general education

Abstract. In the methodological recommendations considers the difficulties of studying history of the native land in the Kaliningrad region. The author discusses the problems associated with the fact that the region became a part of the USSR and then one of the Russian Federation only after 1945. Nevertheless, the local history overlapped several times with the history of the Russian Empire. It cannot be ignored because of respect to the cultural heritage of the previous generations, which left its material traces in architectural, natural and mental terrain of the place. The author proposes to integrate local history material into the course of Russian history and synchronize the courses of general, national and local history. He believes that the study of the history of the native land helps to form a respectful attitude to the historical heritage and monuments, traditions of different peoples living in their native country. The article offers examples of the integration of local history material into courses of general and national history in a general education school, synchronization of courses of national and general history, discusses the features of thematic planning, taking into account the inclusion of a local history component into the subject content. Methodological recommendations are given on the use of historical information about the history of the region to achieve subject and metasubject results, the use of an activity-based approach in education, the use of local historical information to prepare for the state final certification. Problem-cognitive tasks are modeled with the involvement of historical local history information.
