Prospects for using digital technologies in Preschool educational organizations

Abstract. At the moment, preschool educational institutions are not considered as organizations for the deployment of a digital educational environment, primarily due to age restrictions, hygienic regulations, etc. Digital technologies, being an integral part of the digital educational environment, open up wide opportunities to improve the quality of the educational process in preschool educational organizations. The article presents definitions of the concepts: “digitalization”, “digital technologies”, “digital educational environment”. The aim of the article is to reveal the essence of digital technologies in the organization of educational process in the kindergarten, as well as the prospects for their application, taking into account regulatory documents, including sanitary rules SP 2.4.3648-20. This publication examines the main components of the usage of digital technologies in the educational process, provides practical examples from the experience of kindergartens in the Kaliningrad region. The analysis revealed both the prospects for their application, including the increase of the availability of preschool education for children with frequent illnesses, and possible risks, including low readiness of teachers and administrative staff of educational organizations for the upcoming transformations, as well as an increase in the number of preschoolers with speech disorders.
