Importance of “an inspiring whiff” or a view of a practicing teacher on writing an essay at school

Abstract. Thinking over the experience in teaching pupils of writing essays, the author verifies it against the experience of such outstanding pedagogues as M. A. Rybnikova and E. N. Ilin. Analyzing the causes of low quality of creative works and the plagiarism problem among pupils, the author comes to the conclusion: a pupil will develop logical and imaginative thought and language and will be able to write a good final essay if the essay subjects offered during the school years inspire the pupil by their wording and content.
