Formation of health-preserving parents’ competence of schoolchildren with visual impairments
Abstract. The article presents the need for the formation of health-preserving parents’ competence of schoolchildren with visual impairments. Examples of the research in this area are provided. Attempts to find definitions of the notions “parental competence”, “health-preserving parental competence” are made. The need to form the ability of parents to develop the health of students with visual impairment is substantiated. A special program of pedagogical support, including various components is created. It is aimed at the complex work with the family in terms of the development, preservation and strengthening the health (physical, mental, social).
