Gamification and visualized content in History lessons

Abstract. The article deals with the main aspects of the transformation of the modern practice of teaching humanities at school (by the example of History studies), through the interference of gamification elements based on the operation of audio-visualized content that opens up new opportunities in the study of various periods of the formation of human civilization. The author characterizes the most widely used “game universes” providing the possibility of using the concept of modeling the historical process.
