Lifelong learning and the problem of university graduates’ adaptation to professional activities

Abstract. The problem of professional adaptation of university graduates is significant in the modern system of higher education. The article highlights the main reasons and types of difficult professional adaptation and proposes several principles of lifelong learning, some of which are possible to implement in a higher education system and that allows mastering competencies that are applicable in the realities of the modern world and a highly competitive job market.
