Implementation of the program of additional education in the context of distance learning: opportunities and risks

Abstract. The article deals with the problems of realization the additional education programs in the conditions of disconnection of their subjects. Distance education is considered as a special case of changing conditions, which creates new opportunities and risks. The main risks and opportunities of distance education for its subjects are analyzed. The article reveals the tools for promoting the formation and improvement of learners’ activities in the conditions of distance education. Psychological and pedagogical conditions ensuring the achievement of the goals of additional education are justified. The experience of realization a complex project in actual conditions is given. The article describes the possibilities of using elements of distance learning in ordinary and extraordinary situations.
