From the supportive notes to the transformable support
Abstract. The article presents a long-term experience in creation and use of visual learning aids providing to easier pupils’ perception of verbal information and helping them to master algorithms of actions in solving various language problems at Russian lessons. Studying this school subject, a pupil mostly deals with verbal, textual information that must be comprehensible and kept in memory for a long time to be used as practical knowledge in future. Not everybody succeeds in this task. Using textual-and-graphical supportive notes in the process of teaching Russian — transformable supports being their composite movable variety — helps pupils to master practical skills in learning a range of topics. Photos from the author’s archive are used in the article.
