The competency-based approach in training specialists in the field of information security in institutions of secondary vocational education

Abstract. The article discusses the use of the competency-based approach as a system integration of previously applied approaches to training specialists in the field of information security in organizations of secondary vocational education. Common approaches to the formation of key competencies of future specialists are analyzed. The choice of a competency-based approach is substantiated and its advantages are characterized. The most promising areas for the implementation of the competency-based approach in the system of secondary vocational education are formulated.
