Integration of the arts as a means of developing emotional intelligence of primary schoolchildren

Abstract. This article presents the methodological recommendations for analyzing V. L. Durov’s story “Our Zuchka,” included in the list of children’s reading for the Grade 3 following the program “School of Russia”. A distinctive feature of this work is the complex emotional component. It is possible to use the integration technology to live all feelings, as well as to develop emotional intelligence of primary schoolchildren. The integration of literary reading and fine arts in educational activities contributes not only to the awareness of the main thought of the work, the understanding of copyright features, but also to the formation of a holistic idea of the emotional part of the surrounding worldа.
