Experience of a museum pedagogue at the Friedland Gate Museum in Kaliningrad

Abstract. The article examines the specifics of museum pedagogy, its capabilities, advantages over other educational sites. Difficulties in the implementation of museum pedagogical projects, their pros and cons, modern challenges of the time for museums at work with school audiences are analyzed. Using the example of three methods of children’s museum lessons, specific museum quests, quizzes, interactive lessons, implemented at the Friedland Gate Museum are presented, mainly on the history of the city.
