Application of certain techniques of the Singapore method at Literature lessons: from work experience

Abstract. The methodological development presents the experience of applying certain elements of the so-called “Singapore technology” working with the text of M. A. Sholokhov’s story “the Fate of a man” at the Literature lesson (the theme “Reflection about the destinies of the peoples of Russia in the life of the main character of the work”). According to the author, the use of this innovative technology in the classroom in the combination with traditional Russian methods contributes to the formation of children’s communicative competencies that help students to assimilate better the basic knowledge of the discipline, form new theoretical concepts and consolidate them analyzing a definite text, as well as increase the visibility of learning, systematize the acquired knowledge, create a situation of success in the classroom, which will help in the formation of student’s personality, the disclosure of his creative potential.
