Educational potential of educational research and projects of a spiritual and moral orientation
Abstract. The article substantiates the relevance and pedagogical appropriateness of using the potential of educational research and projects for spiritual and moral development and education of a student in the framework of implementation of the State Educational Standards (FGOS NOO — Federal state educational standard of primary general education and FGOS ООО — Federal state educational standard of basic general education). Attention is drawn to the necessity and at the same time the complexity of revealing the value component of the problem stated in the educational study and of penetration into the meanings of moral categories and concepts in the context of national, spiritual and cultural traditions. Basing on examples, we propose a mechanism for analyzing and identifying the value characteristics and spiritual meanings of such moral categories as “feat” and “mercy”. Due to active and creative approaches, working with meanings and values in the process of performing educational research and projects helps to develop a student’s personal attitude to a problem and allows him to move to a qualitatively new position of being a spiritually and morally mature person.
