Analysis of models of vocational guidance work with schoolchildren: foreign and domestic experience

Abstract. The article is devoted to define the role and content of an effective model of vocational guidance work in Russian schools, taking into account the positive experience of foreign countries. The main tasks of updating the strategy of vocational guidance for schoolchildren, based on monitoring trends in vocational education, is to create conditions for professional self-determination of schoolchildren according to the personal characteristics, as well as the development of the national economy and the needs of the job market.
