Cooperation between universities and EdTech companies as a new trend in modern education
Abstract. The paper examines the impact of digital transformation on modern education, the methodology of its practical application, and the competition between traditional higher education institutions and EdTech companies that have recently appeared on the education services market. It describes the strengths and weaknesses of each side, as well as the need to reform traditional university education to meet the modern needs of a digital society. The paper emphasizes the importance of integrating digital educational technologies, interdisciplinary programmes, and individual educational trajectories that allow students to acquire relevant skills and competencies. The authors focus on cooperation between universities and enterprises, and EdTech companies, which contributes to the formation of a modern educational ecosystem that meets the requirements of the labour market, innovative development and state priorities. Examples of successful joint initiatives between universities and EdTech companies are given aimed at creating a relevant learning environment that meets the demands of today’s world. The conducted analysis leads to the idea of consolidating modern approaches and the basic foundations of traditional forms of education. A conception of joint learning is proposed, combining the fundamental knowledge of universities and the applied skills of EdTech companies, which ensures the training of highly qualified specialists and increases the competitiveness of educational institutions in the context of global changes.
