Model of an in-school management system for working with gifted children
Abstract. The article presents a model of an in-school management system for working with gifted children, developed at the «Seretino Secondary School» of Belgorod region. The authors view giftedness as a dynamic quality requiring comprehensive support and propose an adaptive management strategy that combines an individual approach, digital technologies, and interdisciplinarity. Key elements of the model include: multi-level diagnostics (observation, expert assessments, project-based methodologies, digital tools); a database of gifted students with regular updates and categorization by types of giftedness; individual educational routs; network collaboration with supplementary education institutions and regional centers; utilization of «Tochka Rosta» center’s resources for project-based and research activities.
Special attention is paid to supplementary education, which helps unlock students’ creative, intellectual, and social potential. Monitoring results are provided: growth of competition and Olympiad winners, increase in project activity, and reduced anxiety among children.
The practical significance of the model lies in its adaptability for small rural schools and its potential for replication. Development prospects include the creation of an inter-school resource center and a system for early prediction of giftedness. The presented management experience has demonstrated sufficient effectiveness and can be used by educational institutions in rural areas to improve the quality of work with talented students.
