In light of the need for Russia to defend daily civil sovereignty, the correct presentation of the regional history at history lessons becomes especially important. In this regard, the history teacher has an opportunity to work out the subject and metasubject content more efficiently, as well as pay great and due attention to achieve personal learning outcomes, forming a worldview corresponding to the current level of development of historical science based on awareness of his place in the multicultural world; understanding the meaning of history as knowledge about the development of man and society, about the social and moral experience of previous generations and their contribution to building a sustainable future; assessing the events of the past from the standpoint of historicism, the essence and significance of the historically formed and developing spiritual and moral values of the Russian people. Teaching the history of the native land should become for the teacher not just studying of historical facts with students. The teacher becomes a helper for students in the formation of a scientifically proven worldview including the knowledge of the historical heritage of the region and a civic position determining the attitude to the history of a country and world.
