Features of implementing the regional component in literature lessons in the Kaliningrad region
Abstract. This article considers the peculiarities of introducing the unique regional component of the Kaliningrad region in literature lessons in general and secondary school. The approaches of introducing the regional component are described on the examples of works of art such as «The Letters of a Russian traveler» by Nikolay Karamzin, «Königsberg cycle of poems» by Joseph Brodsky, and «Dances in the Crematory» by Yuri Ivanov. A number of stories by regional writer Natalia Gorbacheva are also offered for studying. The concepts of «national-regional component of the educational process» and «urban literature» are considered, the process of transition of the «Königsberg text» into the «Kaliningrad one» is studied. The authors emphasize that the ongoing separation of history and cultural heritage of Königsberg and Kaliningrad literature is unacceptable. One of the most urgent tasks of the region is to restore the connection of times, which will allow us to perceive the pre-war history of Königsberg not as the history of a foreign city but as an integral part of the history of modern Kaliningrad. The regional component ingrained in the educational process can help students understand and preserve the historical path of the region in which they live. It will naturally lead to the protection of the country’s history and culture of the whole country because regional culture is an inseparable part of the national culture as a part of it.
