Teacher’s interaction with parents in the educational environment: practical aspects and recommendations

Abstract. This study is devoted to the analysis of the interaction between the curator and the parents of students, based on many years of practical experience in the pedagogical college. The article presents various forms of communication with parents, such as meetings, individual conversations and the use of messengers. The aim of this study is to assess changes in the educational environment of the educational institution through the interaction among various social communities: the curator, students and parents. Within the framework of the study, the following tasks were solved: to analyze the impact of interaction on the educational process, identify the causes of conflicts and develop ways to overcome them, evaluate the effectiveness of interaction methods and their impact on the educational environment. The results of the study have showed that the implementation of new interaction models has improved mutual understanding and cooperation between the curator and parents, which is proved by an increase in satisfaction, a decrease in conflicts and an increase in student academic performance. The parents chat in the information and communication platform «Spherum» turned out to be an important tool for the rapid exchange of information. The author emphasizes that systematic interaction between the curator, parents and students has a significant educational effect and contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the educational process. The author’s experience also confirms the importance of involving parents in extracurricular activities, which strengthens trust and promotes deeper involvement of all members in the educational process.
