Results of the implementation of the program “Zemsky teacher” on the territory of the Kaliningrad region for the period from 2020 to 2023

Abstract. The article contains information revealed during the implementation of the program “Zemsky teacher” for the period 2020–2023 in the territory of the Kaliningrad region. The aim of the study is to describe the portrait of an average “Zemsky teacher” of the region and to present the teachers’ opinion on the experience of participation in the program with the help of the method of questionnaire survey and comparative analysis conducted on the data obtained during the implementation of the program. The article also describes other studies conducted by the authors over the years of the project’s existence. The relevance of the work is justified by the decision to extend the terms of the program and the need to analyze the existing experience of the program implementation in the region in order to improve the effectiveness of the work of “Zemsky teachers”. The study involved teachers who took part in the program on the territory of the Kaliningrad region (n = 35). The absolute majority of teachers are female. The average age of teachers is 46 years old. While measuring the level of education, it was clarified that the majority of teachers have got higher education, 37 % of teachers have got the first qualification category, 54 % of pedagogues have got the highest qualification category and 8 % of specialists have got the category of correspondence to the occupied position. The most numerous category is Primary school teachers. In general, teachers are satisfied with the choice of the region and participation in the program. The practical significance of the conducted survey is in obtaining relevant data from teachers.
